KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected to be a romp and so it was for Mahogany in the Caymanas Monday seventh.
Mahogany trained by Ian Parsard, with Dane Dawkins in the saddle expectedly went to the lead, and was never challenged in the six-furlong contest at the Overnight Allowance grade.
More interest was paid on the clock which Mahogany stopped at 1:13.3.
Second was Laban (Oshane Nugent) with El Profesor (Tevin Foster) third.
Mahogany gave Dawkins his second winner on the day.
