KINGSTON, Jamaica - As the action increases in the 2019 Yearling Sale currently underway at Caymanas Park, the first yearling sold for over $4 million just passed through the sales ring.
Lot # 44 - a bay filly by Northern Giant - Buyabook was sold for $4.5 million. The filly is the property of Trinidadian Chevan Maharaj, the owner of 2019 Triple Crown champion, Supreme Soul
Northern Giant is offering his second crop of horses while Buyabook has already proven to be a worthy mare having produced Poker Star, The Gatsby, Selectabook among others.
Just before Lot #44 sold for $4.5 million Lot # 43 - a chestnut colt the property of Paradise at Spring Village was taken for $3.7 million. Lot #43 is by Strong Medicine - Moonlight Brew. The sire of Lot # 43 Strong Medicine is the son of Tiznow.
