KINGSTON, Jamaica – Little Red finally saw the winning post in front after 22 career starts in the Caymanas Wednesday second.

Ridden by Samantha Fletcher for trainer Barrington Dawes, Little Red’s first triumph was achieved in a five-year-old and upwards maiden call going 5 ½ furlongs.

Fletcher waited in the cat bird’s seat when the race got underway watching closely as the likes of Dr Sahir Alexander (Javaniel Patterson) and The Final Blue tested each other on the front end.

Little Red picked up her momentum when rounding the final bend to bring the field in the lane and after that it was over and done with for the rest. Little Red won by 5 ½ lengths, with Bad Boy Theodore second and The Final Blue third.
