KINGSTON, Jamaica – Eagle One gave a returning from suspension jockey Dick Cardenas a quick winner in the Caymanas Friday fifth with a gate to wire performance. Eagle One, a US importee trained by Jason DaCosta gained his win a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) races travelling 6 furlongs.
When the gates opened Cardenas wasted no time in pushing Eagle One to the front and from then on, he just moved away from rivals with ease.
The consistent Big Big Daddy (Dane Dawkins) was second with Weekend Jazz (Jordan Barrett) filling the third slot.
