KINGSTON, Jamaica – Legal Bomb, owned and trained by Patrick Lynch with Raddesh Roman in the saddle made full use of the outside draw coming down the straight course (four furlongs) to notch his first career victory in the Caymanas Saturday (April 30) third.
The Caymanas Saturday third was for three-year-old maiden horses who have not finished second or third thus far in their careers.
From the time the gates opened, Legal Bomb drawn at 13 in the 13-horse field swept to the lead with Roman keeping him glued to the outside rails.
Maggie’s Boy (Anthony Thomas), the 4-5 favourite tried his best to get on terms but Legal Bomb was not for the catching. Eddietwentynine (Reyan Lewis) finished third.
