KINGSTON, Jamaica - The seventh race on Saturday, March 22, 2025, is dedicated to the multiple-time champion Omar Walker.

The Omar Walker Trophy features horses aged three years and older competing at the Overnight Allowance level over a distance of five furlongs round.

Below is an analysis of the ten horses entered for the race.

1 - PERFECT BREW has emerged as a strong run-on sprinter, but the five-furlong distance may be slightly short for him. However, he is likely to be a competitive option for exotic wagers.

2 - JOY IS GOLDEN has performed well since entering Overnight. Known for her speed, she is expected to push a fast pace and could maintain her lead until the finish line.

3 - CHOCOMO returned from a lengthy break on February 8 but was not at his best. The experience from that race should help his performance in this event, and he is expected to improve.

4 - LEGACY ISLE raced on January 1 but was pulled up by his rider. He faced challenges off the track but is showing promise in morning workouts. Given his undeniable talent, he is a strong contender for victory.

5 - JAMES will face challenges against these rivals and may struggle to keep up.

6 - HUNTSMAN is gradually finding his footing in the Overnight category, and his time to shine is approaching.

7 - FREEDOM STREET has been having difficulty in his races, and this trend is likely to continue.

8 - SENSATIONAL MOVE previously tackled a tougher distance of 6 ½ furlongs on March 5, finishing sixth, ten lengths behind Wall Street Trader. With the shorter distance, he is expected to perform better and could be a solid choice for the exacta wager.

9 - SUPREMASI experienced a close loss in his debut in the Overnight category. His breakthrough moment may be coming soon.

10 - MILOS appears unable to compete with these rivals effectively.
