KINGSTON, Jamaica - Eleven races are scheduled on tomorrow’s (May 14) programme with the feature being the $1.5-million Lady Geeta Trophy — a three-year-old and upwards Open Allowance/Graded Stakes contest over six furlongs (1,200m).
Below is the analysis of the runners, done in post-position order.

LURE OF LUCY (USA): 4 b f by Uncle Lindo – Ring of Faith) – Finished sixth on her seasonal debut (April 18) behind Runaway Algo and Mahogany in the Easter Sprint Cup. That was in the class below at the Overnight Allowance level, and now up in grade, Lure of Lucy’s chances are limited but she is light (44.0 kgs) and as such, if she breaks well from the one draw can be dangerous.

KING ARTHUR: (5 b g by Natural Selection – Geisha’s Art) – Ran below expectation in the Viceroy Trophy over 7 ½ furlongs (1,500m) on April 23. King Arthur is currently struggling to find his true self and would prefer this race to be longer. King Arthur will not pose a threat to the out and sprinters engaged in this contest.

HOVER CRAFT: (12 b g by He’stherealthing - Royal Pizzaz) – This old stager was a winner on last at the Overnight Allowance level over nine plus. Hover Craft, with no real speed in his old legs, is going to be left behind tomorrow.

DUKE: (6 gr h by Casual Trick – Lady MacBeth) – Very consistent runner who was a winner on April 17 when travelling five furlongs (1,000m) round. Duke gets a three kilogramme pull in the weights and with his known ability of staying just off the pace and then pouncing in the straight, he is a live contender to take home this trophy event, plus with the red-hot pair of jockey Dane Dawkins and trainer Gary Subratie involved, Duke stocks will soar.

EAGLE ONE (USA): (5 b g by Astrology – Frisky Cheerleader) – This foreigner returns from a earned break of 42 days, and Eagle One does so fresh and well-prepared based on his exercise spins. The trip of six furlongs holds no terrors for him and as such can revisit the winners’ circle.

FATHER PATRICK: (6 b g by Nuclear Wayne – Late Appeal) – The current sprint champion, Father Patrick is without a win from two starts this season but is well-prepared for this encounter. If all goes well at the gates, then Father Patrick can sit behind the pacesetters and strike in the lane. The only possible hindrance is that Father Patrick is allowing weight to his six rivals and as a result will have to make every step right.

DOUBLE CROWN: (5 ch g by Bellamy Road – Salty Talk) – No chance whatsoever where winning is concerned.
