A win for jockey Oneil Mullings, trainer Philip Feanny

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Lacrimae justified her 2-5 on starting odds with a facile victory in the Caymanas Saturday (March 26) fourth.
Lacrimae, a grey filly by Savoy Stomp out of Pleasant Ending, racing for the third occasion, earned her success in a three-year-old maiden condition event (fillies only – Division 2) going 5 ½ furlongs.
Dujour (Anthony Thomas) set off in front as if there was no tomorrow followed by Minidewak (Tevin Foster), while Lacrimae trained by Philip Feanny with Oneil Mullings aboard raced close-by, on the rails.
Turning for the last two furlongs it was still Dujour but by now Mullings got Lacrimae rolling and in a flash, the filly gained the advantage and then pulled away to claim victory by all of 7 ½ lengths. Minidewak was second and newcomer The Exodus (Oshane Nugent) third. The winning time was 1:08.3.
