KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Paul Francis will not be riding today, Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Francis fell from one of his exercise mounts this morning, and after being examined by the on-site medical personnel was sent to the hospital for further assessment.
The in-form riding was booked to ride, Oh My in the first race.
It is not known at this time when Francis will mount up again.
Francis is listed to ride four horses on Sunday (Dec 17), Baton Rouge (first race), World Surprise (third), Zabratone (eighth), and Golden Loyalty in the ninth.
