KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Linton Steadman, who recently moved his saddle to the Century Mile Race Track in Alberta, Canada, rode his first winner on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Steadman successfully piloted 14-1 chance Manforallseasons in an event for three-year-olds.
Steadman stayed off the pace on his mount trained by James Wyness before striking in the straight.
This race turned out to be an exacta for Jamaica jockeys as Richard Lunan finished second on Flying Sun.
