KINGSTON, Jamaica – The vintage form of co-champion jockey with Dane Nelson, Anthony Thomas continued apace when he notched his second winner on the day aboard Mamacita in the Caymanas Saturday fourth. This race was an optional claimer ($250,000 - $200,000) for three-year-olds and upwards travelling four furlongs.

Mamacita trained by Nicholas Smith, was rushed out of gate one by Thomas in this short straight sprint. Mamacita was carried to the middle of the track by Thomas and was closely followed Mother Nature with Nelson in the saddle.

The two fought hard on their mounts with Thomas and Mamacita coming out victorious by a neck over Mother Nature. Third was Smarty Tradition.

Mamacita was winning for the fifth time from 25 career starts.
