Ridden by Richard Henry, Empeorofthecats raced on a direct path throughout, significantly picking up his gallop in the final two furlongs.
A four-year-old bay gelding by Emperor Hall out of Laws of the Cat, Emperorofthecats was winning for the eighth time from 18 starts.
