Wins at odds of 5-2

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the third occasion, Happy Go Lucky, a four-year-old bay filly by Deputy Glitters out of Dance Away, was able to achieve her first win at odds of 5-2.
This first victory for the Welsh Soutar trained, Youville Pinnock-ridden Happy Go Lucky came in a four-year-old and upwards maiden condition event at four furlongs.
It was a unique achievement for Soutar and Pinnock as the two combined to win the last race on the last race day (March 5) with Above Hall Links.
Finishing second behind was first-timer Queen Zan (Roger Hewitt), with another first-timer Pro Johnny (Dane Nelson) in the third slot.
Drawn on the outside of rivals, Happy Go Lucky was quickly away at the start and was able to maintain that gallop going on to the race track proper.
In the final furlong, Happy Go Lucky was persistently challenged by both Queen Zan and Pro Johnny but held on to claim her first win by a head.
