KINGSTON, Jamaica – The fourth race on Saturday, July 29, 2023, is Division Two of a three-year-old maiden call going four furlongs.
Like in Division One, nine horses are entered to contest this event.
The Quick Galloper’s assessment is published below.
1 – ZAYN’S PRINCESS is a chestnut filly (March 13) by Soul Warrior out of Sweet Dimension, trained by Michael Beecham with Akeem Grant in the saddle. Has started twice, with her second effort displaying some promise, third seven lengths behind Mrs Lyndhurst and Babla. More development will happen, giving Zayn’s Princess the opportunity of coming closer to winning.
2 – BELLA SOUL is a bay filly (January 19) by Soul Warrior out of Lady Belridge, trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard. A model of consistency in her five starts to date, while demonstrating the tendency of being close to the early, making four furlongs right up her street. Should get close.
3 – SECURITY CODE is a bay colt (April 2) by Wannabeaplayer out of Jah Love, trained by Errol Burke with Rudolph Paige in the saddle. Facing the starter for the first time. Needs time.
4 – HERE COMES DOC is a bay colt (March 23) by Bern Identity out of Indian Bluff, trained by Gary Griffiths with Oshane Nugent aboard. Note, Here Comes Doc races with first-time Lasix. Hovered around in his two runs thus far in his career. With a weak field at hand, Here Comes Doc can get off the mark.
5 – COALITION is an imported in-utero chestnut colt (April 29) by Wicked Strong out of Misunify, trained by Dale Murphy with Raddesh Roman in the saddle. This well-bred colt, a half-brother to Runaway Algo is still learning her trade, this being his third time on the track in a competitive event.
6 -ALTITUDE is a bay colt (April 3) by Strikeitwhileitshot out of Miracle River, trained by Patrick Fong with Charlton Riley aboard. Still a long way off from winning for the first time.
7 – PHENOMENAL ONE is a chestnut colt (March 31) by Lion Tamer out of Darlin, trained by Jason DaCosta with Anthony Allen in the saddle. A difficult character to understand. Phenomenal One is always hampering his cause of winning with indifferent behaviour. Now, he get the opportunity putting things right for his connections.
8 – MR WONDERFUL is a bay colt (May 7) by Bern Identity out of Angel Dreams, trained by Patrick Lynch with Ramon Nepare aboard. Note, Mr Wonderful races with the blinkers on. This is a second run by Mr Wonderful. Will learn.
9 – MYSTIX CAT is a bay filly (March 1) by Silent Valor out of Medical Cat, trained by Carl Anderson with Matthew Jordan Barrett in the saddle. Has no realistic chance of winning.
