KINGSTON, Jamaica - Mahogany and Jordon Reign’s will exit from post–positions three and four respectively in the Mouttet Mile this Saturday (December 3, 2022) at Caymanas Park.
The trainer of these two leading lights in the Mouttet, Ian Parsard is not bothered by the draw positions.
“I am a pragmatic person, and for me, the die is cast. I have done my duty by preparing both horses to give of their very best. On race day, it will be up to the jockeys, and them alone.
“This is a competitive field of horses, with speed galore, and of course, there are horses who can come from off the pace.
“I am therefore of the opinion that success in a race like the Mouttet Mile is going to be strongly dependent on the decisions made by the riders during the conduct of the race.
“They have to be sharp and make the right choices.
“As to the draw itself, that is not an issue for Jordon Reign’s, he could have been drawn anywhere.
“For Mahogany, I would have preferred an outside barrier, but with that said, I am drawn at three, and that is simply that. Enough said,” Parsard shared with Quickgallop.com
