KINGSTON, Jamaica – The inform pair of trainer Patrick “Wacky” Lynch and jockey Dane Dawkins teamed up to win the third of 12 races at Caymanas Park with 4-1 chance High Diplomacy.
Racing in three-year-old maiden race, Dawkins kept off the pace set by City Counsel (Oshane Nugent) and first timer Generational (Reyan Lewis).
Generational took over after four furlongs of the allotted six were completed and at that stage it looked like a straight contest between Generational and his stablemate Oneofakind (Linton Steadman).
Dawkins then produced High Diplomacy, a bay colt by American Dane – Code Star) in the last half-a-furlong to get the win. Generational was second with Oneofakind third.
The winning time was 1:15.0.
