The young man after riding a triple on Saturday (May 11, 2019) started with a bang on the mid-week 10-race card at Caymanas Park moments ago with a come from behind victory on the Ian Parsard trained four-year-old grey gelding, Resurgence.
Resurgence who went off at odds of 9-1, won an Optional Claiming event ($550,000 - $500,000) for three-year-olds and up and five-year-olds and up – non winners of four covering a distance of five furlongs round.
Second was the 4-5 favourite Poker Star with the 7-1 Balazo third with jockey Shane Ellis.
The winning time was a slow 1:02.0.
