KINGSTON, Jamaica - The eighth race on Sunday, July 7, 2024, is for three-year-old and up horses at the Overnight Allowance level.
The nine horses entered will travel a distance of 7 ½ furlongs.

- ATLANTIC CONVOY: After finishing fifth in a race 43 days ago, Atlantic Convoy is back to Overnight company. Although Atlantic Convoy has been performing well in morning workouts, his running style of leading is going to be challenged in this contest.
- THALITA: After a long break, Thalita returned to competitive racing on May 23 and finished third. With that run under her belt, she is expected to perform well, as she doesn't necessarily have to lead but can race close to the pacesetters and then strike when required.
- RANI BANGALA: Showed some signs of returning to form on last but not yet ready for a winning effort.
- PERFECT BREW: After a break of 188 days, Perfect Brew returns and is expected to perform well at the Overnight Allowance level, although the long absence may affect his competitive edge initially.
- HEROINE: Enters the Overnight level for the first time, representing a new learning curve.
- PRESS CONFERENCE: Finished third in a recent race and is expected to perform well at the longer distance of this upcoming race.
- SHE’S FRIEND: Returning to a level where she belongs but is not likely to win.
- MONEY MISER: Entering the Overnight grade for the first time and may need more time to adjust to the pace of this level.
- FEARLESS SOUL: Expected to deliver another good performance in the Overnight bracket.
