The second of eleven races on the card of Saturday, January 24, 2026, is designated as a three-year-old maiden special weight.

Seven are entered to compete going five furlongs straight.

The Quick Galloper’s Take on the possible outcome is provided below for the perusal of readers.

1 – MO PAI

Bay colt (April 25) by Savoy Stomp out of Money Magnet. Trainer: Richard Azan | Jockey: Raddesh Roman

Mo Pai is the seasoned campaigner in this field with four prior starts. He has shown consistency, losing narrowly on debut by a short head, then by a head in his third outing. On January 1, he altered tactics by going to the front instead of his usual stalking style, finishing third. With the champion jockey now aboard and the shorter trip expected to suit, Mo Pai stands out as the leading contender.

2 – DELTA GAMMA

Bay filly (March 7) by Savoy Stomp out of Rogamma. Trainer: Richard Azan | Jockey: Tyrese Anderson

Delta Gamma has only one run under her belt, in December 2025, where she failed to make an impression. Improvement is required, and at this stage, she does not appear ready to challenge for top honours.

3 – QUEEN MAJESTY

Bay filly (April 20) by Strikewhileitshot out of Valley of Queens. Trainer: Edward Stanberry | Jockey: Jordan Barrett

Queen Majesty makes her debut. Morning gallops have been encouraging, suggesting ability that will blossom with experience. While winning first time out may be ambitious, she is one to keep in mind for future engagements.

4 – WAH A GWAAN

Bay colt (February 13) by Aveenu Malcainu out of She’s Irie. Trainer: Christopher Pierre | Jockey: Tajay Suckoo

Wah A Gwaan has four starts to date, often showing early speed and influencing the pace. Though yet to secure victory, his consistency in being part of the action makes him a candidate for another minor placing.

5 – DREAM CATCHER

Bay filly (May 12) by Bern Identity out of Double Jeopardy. Trainer: Jason DaCosta | Jockey: Robert Halledeen

Dream Catcher has impressed onlookers in morning exercise, particularly with two sharp 1:01.1 gallops. She is highly regarded by connections and appears primed for a strong debut. A live threat to Mo Pai, she could announce herself with victory at first asking.

6 – SENSATIONAL DESTINY

Bay colt (March 17) by Successful Native out of Flying Machine. Trainer: Alford Brown | Jockey: Romario Spencer

Sensational Destiny disappointed in his lone start but returns equipped with visor and tongue tie. Still learning the ropes, he may need more time before becoming competitive.

7 – PROSPERITY SEN

Bay colt (May 20) by Aveenu Malcainu out of Sencity. Trainer: Alford Brown | Jockey: Shane Richardson

Prosperity Sen has three runs to date, finishing well behind rivals each time. Blinkers are added, but significant improvement is required before he can be considered a factor.

THE QUICK GALLOPER’S VERDICT

This maiden special weight is expected to revolve around Mo Pai, whose experience and narrow defeats mark him as the horse to beat, especially with Raddesh Roman taking the reins. However, the debutant Dream Catcher has been going well in the mornings and could translate her gallop form to race day. Wah A Gwaan should once again be in the mix for a minor placing,
