KINGSTON, Jamaica – Further and Beyond a full brother to 2020 Oaks and 1000 Guineas winner Above and Beyond got off the mark the second time of asking in a maiden special weight for two-year-olds travelling six furlongs.
Further and Beyond under guidance from Dane Nelson was quickly out of his starting stall and at no stage seemed likely to lose.
He was pressed by Billy Whizz (Anthony Thomas) but Further and Beyond was not perturbed as he went about his business with ease.
Billy Whizz was second with Action Ann third.
The winning time done by Anthony Nunes trainee was 1:12.4.
