KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a Sunday morning stroll for General Mubaraak in the Caymanas Tuesday fifth.
Ridden by Dane Nelson for trainer Lawrence Freemantle, General Mubaraak’s third career victory from 51 starts was achieved in a five-year-old and upwards claimer ($180,000 - $150,000) travelling six furlongs.
When the starter sent the 15 runners on their way it took General Mubaraak approximately half a furlong to get going and when he did it was over and done with for the rest.
Stan Roy (Phillip Parchment) at odds of 44-1 was second with Indy Arazi (Jemar Jackson) third.
