KINGSTON, Jamaica - Four horses will race for the first time on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Of the lot one is a five-year-old and the others three-year-olds.
FIVE-YEAR-OLD
IN THE SPIRIT is a chestnut mare by Smokin Man out of Spirit Song, trained by Donwell Dawes with Shamaree Muir riding.
THREE-YEAR-OLDS
PAPER WORK is a chestnut colt (April 8) by Sensational Slam out of Abicadabby, trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard.
PAPPIE DON is a bay colt (Jan 20) by Sensational Slam out of Sparkling Michaela, trained by Saqlain Roman with Daniel Thompson holding the reins. Note, Pappie Don was nominated to race on February 10, but was declared a late non-starter.
CAPTAIN SPARROW is a bay colt (March 16) by Savoy Stomp out of Rackman’s Mistress, trained by Anthony Nunes with Raddesh Roman aboard.
