Former Horse of the Year, Saint Cecelia Moves On

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Celebrated racer and two-time Horse of the Year, Saint Cecelia has moved on to greener pastures.

While on the track, Saint Cecelia won the 1000 Guineas, the Jamaica Oaks, the Gold Cup (three times), and the Caribbean Sprint Championship (four times).

She still holds the record for the most consecutive wins of 14, all Grade One races.

Four her outstanding achievements on the track, St Cecelia was voted twice as the Horse of the Year.

As a broodmare, St Cecelia produced Sea Swan, Muzzo, Mum and Attorney General. She also leaves behind a yearling (filly) by Bern Identity, and a foal (filly) by Successful Native.

During her entire racing career, St Cecelia was trained by Spencer Chung.
