KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Oshadane Robinson after many attempts was finally able to ride his first winner Silver Tapp in the Caymanas Saturday fourth. It was also a winning debut run by Silver Tapp, racing for the first time at age five.

Robinson and Silver Tapp were successful in a five-year-old and upwards maiden condition race at 6 ½ furlongs.

Trained by Borris McIntosh, Silver Tapp was not even close to the leaders Northern Ridge (Dick Cardenas) and Little Red (Osive Donegal).

The latter two were locked in battle entering the last two furlongs with Northern Ridge having the advantage but that was for a short while as Little Red rallied and set sail for home.

However, with a furlong to go, Robinson brought the first timer on the outside with a telling run to register win number one for both jockey and horse.

Little Red was second and Lyceum third.
