KINGSTON, Jamaica – After 22 attempts, US bred four-year-old filly Dyna’s Pride finally allowed her trainer Gary Subratie to celebrate her achievement as a winner.
A change of equipment with the blinkers and cheek pieces on, a much sharper Dyna’s Pride with apprentice Reyan Lewis in the saddle was near to the leaders from the start in the six and a half furlongs - Restricted Allowance event before taking over at the top of the straight, to eventually run out the winner by five lengths.
Second went to Msmyrtlerichiegirl (Anthony Thomas) and third was the position occupied by Lala Diva.
Dyna’s Pride was the 1-2 favourite.
