KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an uneventful start to the 11-race card at Caymanas Park a short while ago as favourite at 8-5, Hologram Shadow gave punter an easy start to their wagers.

Making his 100th appearance on the race track, the seemingly fresh and perky Hologram Shadow (Paul Francis) at age 11, just stayed off the pace set by Dallas (Reyan Lewis) and another old timer Fortuneonehundred (Youville Pinnock) before taking over at the top of the straight.

Trained by Johnny Wilmot and owned by Carlton Watson, Hologram Shadow scored his 26th career win in a $250,000 - $200,000 optional claimer for four-year-olds and upwards run over 5 ½ furlongs.

Dallas fought gallantly for second with Run Dazzle (Anthony Allen) coming on for third.

As expected Hologram Shadow was claimed from the race by trainer Phillip Elliott for owner Faye Lee for $250,000.
