KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for only the second time, Weekend Jazz by Adore The Gold – Kipling Weekend, ridden by Tevin Foster and trained by Byron Davis produced a terrific effort to win the sixth race on the card today at Caymanas Park.
The event which attracted 16 starters was a maiden conditioner for three-year-olds coming down the five straight course.
From the off, Weekend Jazz coming from the number 11 draw was with the early leaders and after they entered the race track proper went through the gears to win by a crushing nine lengths.
What was also significant about this maiden victory by Weekend Jazz was the final time - a fast 58.2. The splits were 22.3 x 45.0.
This was the first win by Foster since the restart of racing on July 20.
