KINGSTON, Jamaica – The race day stewards stepped in on Derby Day to disqualify first by the post in the second race Tricky One ridden by Oshane Nugent.
Tricky One rallied in deep stretch to nip Extruder (Robert Halledeen) on the line but then the stewards deemed that Tricky One had intimidated and caused interference to Bloodsweatandtears (Dane Dawkins) in the latter part of the contest.
Chinamax (Dane Nelson) moved up to second and Purple Wayne (Dick Cardenas) third.
Extruder is trained by Spencer Chung.
