KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a display of sheer speed, Exhilarate destroyed rivals to win the fifth race – a non -winners of three event over five furlongs round moments ago at Caymanas Park..
The win by Exhilarate allowed rider Dick Cardenas and trainer Anthony Nunes to close the gap on their main rivals, Anthony Thomas and Wayne DaCosta respectively.
Cardenas finds himself just 8 behind Thomas while Nunes is now just under $2 million in the race with DaCosta.
Exhilarate was the odds on 1-5 favourite in the race and ran the distance in a fast 59.0.
Second was My Super Girl (9-2) and third Garrincha at 4-1.
