KINGSTON, Jamaica – Victory Turn as expected turned the Caymanas Wednesday nightcap (ninth) into a romp. That was at the Overnight Allowance level (three-year-old and upwards) going five furlongs round.
From the gates opened in form jockey Javaniel Patterson sent Victory Turn to the front and from then it was obvious that going this short trip the American bred mare would not be caught.
The Gary Crawford trainee won in a time of 59.3 seconds.
Drummer Boy filled the second slot with Nevada third.
