KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dracarys found his flames after 12 starts to land the third race as the Caymanas Saturday (Oct 24) offering continued.
Dracarys trained by Richard Azan and ridden by apprentice Nicholas Hibbert set off in front when the gates opened in the one-mile maiden condition race limited to three-year-olds.
Although challenged first by Big Mama and then stablemate Zabrartone, Dracarys repelled all and sundry to win easily by 2 ½ lengths.
Second was Gambler with Zabratone third.
The winning time was 1:41.1.
This was the first winner in 2020 for Hibbert.
