KINGSTON, Jamaica - Eight-year-old chestnut gelding Dr Banner racing on the outside in this straight contest made full use of the draw advantage to win his sixth race from 47 starts in the Caymanas New Year’s Day fourth.
Once the gates were opened Dr Banner with Paul Frances aboard for trainer Michael Beecham shot to the front and was not for the catching winning by over four lengths.
Freedom For Eds was second with Smokescreen taking the third slot.
