KINGSTON, Jamaica – The speed of Jensuneera Steel came to the fore in the eighth race at Caymanas Park and this speed also allowed jockey Dick Cardenas to earn his second winner on the nine-race card.
Jensuneera Steel was triumphant in a five-furlong straight contest for four-year-olds and upwards – non-winners of two.
From the off, Jensuneera Steel drawn on the outside in a field of 12, shot off in front and was never in danger of losing.
The Lorne Kirlew trained filly won in very fast time of 58.4 second by three lengths.
Second went to Baby Star (Oshane Nugent) with the third slot occupied by Special Counsel.
