Difficult Three-Year-Old Fillies Only Maiden Call

2026 3-Y-OLDS -

The fifth race on the 11-race card is confined to maiden three-year-old fillies.

Seven are entered to compete over five furlongs round.

The event features four first-timers, with The Quick Galloper’s take on the possible outcome is share for the perusal of readers.

1 – SKY IS THE LIMIT

Chestnut filly (March 8) by Bern Identity out of Ransomware

Trainer – Peter-John Parsard

Jockey – Bebeto Harvey

This debutante has impressed morning watchers with progressive spins, her natural speed standing out. Expectations are high that Sky Is The Limit will announce herself with a bold first effort.

2 – MY LADY GOLD

Bay filly (April 15) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Curlin’s Barracuda

Trainer – Gary Griffiths

Jockey – Romario Spence (claims 2 kilos)

Note – Races with the tongue tie on

Her lone start offered little encouragement, and despite equipment adjustments, significant improvement is not anticipated.

3 – ONEDEGEHDEGEHLINKS

Bay filly (March 12) by Aveenu Malcainu out of Golden Glory

Trainer – Barrington Bernard

Jockey – Tevin Foster

Originally slated to debut on February 21 but withdrawn as a late non-starter, she now returns well-prepared. Reports from exercise suggest Onedegehdegehlinks is fit and ready to make her presence felt at first asking.

4 – MY FRIEND MICKI Bay filly (January 21) by Savoy Stomp out of Bubbling Angeline

Trainer – Gary Griffiths

Jockey – Dane Dawkins

Note – Races with tongue tie and figure 8

The most seasoned of the group with seven prior runs. Her experience gives her an edge, making My Friend Micki a strong candidate for the exacta and trifecta wagers.

5 – CATALEYNA Bay filly (March 6) by Casual Trick out of Unpredictable Trainer – Michael Marlowe

Jockey – Phillip Parchment

Note – Races with blinkers on

Has finished well behind in both career starts. The addition of blinkers is unlikely to spark the necessary turnaround.

6 – ALIYA’S WILL

Chestnut filly (April 27) by Hedge Fund out of Crème De La

Trainer – Michael Spencer

Jockey – Tajay Suckoo (claims three kilos)

At the beginning of her learning curve, Aliya’s Will is expected to gain experience rather than contend seriously.

7 – TALENTED BOSS GAL

Bay filly (June 11) by Talented Tony K out of Herecomestheboss

Trainer – Fitzgerald Richards

Jockey – Oshane Nugent

Morning gallops have not revealed enough spark to suggest winning prospects. Talented Boss Gal may need more time to develop before featuring prominently.
