Smith underscored the importance of the Diamond Mile to the sport, noting its role in elevating local racing standards and reaffirming Jamaica’s place on the regional racing stage.

a step in the right direction,now a mile is a benchmark test for any throughbred..i hope we as punters can look foward to a mile and quater mile sooner than expected.theres no such viceral feeling of excitement as seeing a full field of 14 horses passing the stand for the first time into the clubhouse bend..its unequalled
i know this is a financial game of allocating, promoting and marketing dollars to promote big races, but i beg of supreme ventures to not ignore THE DERBY,its a primer classic at only i beleive $8 million jamaican..a boost is needed this year please.
