KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Dane Nelson returned to his magnetic form riding a four timer among the 10-races on offer at Caymanas Park earlier today.
Nelson closed his four winners aboard the Spencer Chung trained Sea Cruise who won a Maiden Condition event run over seven furlongs.
Earlier in the day, Nelson first delivered on K D Flyer for trainer Gary Griffiths in the fourth race.
His next winner came in the seventh contest atop Above and Beyond for trainer Anthony Nunes.
Nelson triple came in the ninth atop sprinter Patriarch for trainer Fitzgerald Richards.
With those four winners, Nelson jumped to the top of the jockeys’ championship with 14 winners, one ahead of Anthony Thomas who was winless on the day.
