KINGSTON, Jamaica – It seems to be ordained that Dane Nelson must ride a triple on ever race day he is in the saddle.

The “Warrior Chief” as Nelson is popularly known did just that, rode a triple - when he piloted the USA bred Crafty and Ready to victory in the fifth event of 10 at the Park.

The contest was a Restricted Stakes for two-years run over six furlongs and when the starter let them go, King Arthur (Omar Walker 1-2) wasted no time in taking up the running with Nelson sitting pretty on the Adin Williams trained Crafty and Ready.

Crafty and Ready got closer just before entering the last two furlongs as King Arthur could find nothing to give a challenge to the foreigner.

Crafty and Ready then went about his business as King Arthur lost second place to stable companion Uncle Polly (Phillip Parchment - 9-2).

The winning time was 1:11.4.
