KINGSTON, Jamaica – With eleven races featuring 121 horses on the Saturday card of April 30, 2022, champion and now leading jockey Anthony Thomas has made use of the packed programme to secure nine rides on the day.
Thomas mounts up in race two, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine, ten, and eleven. Following closely behind Thomas is apprentice Roger Hewitt with eight rides, in races, two, three, four, five, six, seven, nine and eleven.
Youville Pinnock, Tevin Foster and Dick Cardenas are next in line, with rides in seven races each.
It is to be noted that the man of the moment Shane Elis who on Saturday last rode his 1,300th winner, and long-time leader in the championship this season, Dane Dawkins are not mounting up on the Saturday card.
