Dane Dawkins closes 2019 with a triple on Coco Chanel, double for trainer Ian Parsard

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Dane Dawkins after switching Coco Chanel from the inside rails to mid-track came with a searing run to flash by the then leaders at the ½ furlong pole winning in the end by 2 ¾ lengths.

Coco Chanel, trained by Ian Parsard and going off at starting odds of 5-1 provided Dawkins with his third winner on the last race day of 2019. For trainer Parsard it was his second on the day. The event won by Coco Chanel was a Restricted Allwoance for three-year-olds non-winners of two run over seven furlongs. The winning time was 1:26.3.

Second went to Thepowersthatbe (Javaniel Patterson – 7-1) with the third spot occupied by San Siro (Shane Ellis – 8-5).
