KINGSTON, Jamaica – Run Thatcher Run (Fearless Vision – Ahwhofah) a half-brother to She’s A Maneater (Natural Selection – Ahwhofah) ridden by champion jockey Omar Walker did the unthinkable by winning the 107th running of the Supreme Ventures Limited sponsored, Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes run over a mile at Caymanas Park minutes ago.
It was expected that Nunes with four of the seven runners in the event would have dominated but in a waiting effort, Run Thatcher Run, stalked the leader Earn Your Stripes before making his move at the top of the straight going by Earn Your Stripes who started to flounder and it was left to Supreme Soul to mount a challenge. Run Thatcher Run was just able to hold on by ½ a length in the end at odds of 9-5.
Supreme Soul was second at 9-2 with third going to Earn Your Stripes as the 4-5 odds on favourite.
