KINGSTON, Jamaica – A rejuvenated Rambunctious Links assisted in pushing champion trainer Wayne DaCosta clear on the day in the close race for the 2018 trainers’ crown. With this his fourth win on today’s (Saturday, December 22, 2018) race card, DaCosta moved further ahead of his main competitor Anthony Nunes who is yet to saddle a winner today.
Rambunctious Links was ridden to victory over the 6 ½ furlongs journey by champion jockey Omar Walker, his second on today’s programme. Rambunctious Links was the -6-5 favourite and paid $117 to win.
Second was the spot earned by 5-2 chance Uncle Vinnie with Aaron Chatrie aboard. Third went to 55-1 longshot, Blood Song with Reyan Lewis atop.
The winning time was 1:20.1.
