KINGSTON, Jamaica – Veteran reinsman Oneil “Lester Piggott” Mullings brought the Philip Feanny trained Cryptocurrency to overpower rivals in race eight of 10 at a wet Caymanas Park just moments ago.
When the gates opened in the Restricted Stakes for three-year-olds and up event run over 5 ½ furlongs, it was a scorching battle for the lead involving Mystic Mama and Rojorn Di Pilot, with Prince Charles and Bold Aflair watching proceedings very closely.
Prince Charles (Daniel Satchell), made his move close to entering the straight and when the horses straightened for the drive Prince Charles took over with Cryptocurrency bogged down on the inside rails.
With a half-a-furlong to go and with Prince Charles still in front, Cryptocurrency sprouted wings and flashed by to win by ¾ lengths. Prince Charles was second and Rojorn Di Pilot third.
