KINGSTON, Jamaica – For a brief moment Princess Kyra (Dane Nelson) took the lead but it did not take long for the US import Crafty and Ready to couple and when in full stride he flashed by to assume the lead once and for all.
In the home two furlongs Crafty and Ready under a bustling ride from Christopher Mamdeen was so far in front that his rider eventually eased down with half-a-furlong to go.
Executive Chief (Kiaman McGregor) ran on for second while Double Jeopardy (Dane Dawkins) finished third.
The winning time done by Crafty and Ready was 1:07.2.
