The Charles Hussey Trophy will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024. This event is designated for horses in the Overnight Allowance category competing over a straight distance of five furlongs.
In a special report by Quickgallopja.com its YouTube channel, The Quick Galloper, Hussey, affectionately known as “Bogle Man” among racing fans, highlights the significance of the trophy named in his honour.
In collaboration with the Jamaica Thoroughbred Horsemen Association, Hussey will also host an art show on Monday, December 16, with a portion of the proceeds aimed at supporting horse racing personnel working on the backstretch and assisting with the aftercare of retired horses.
