KINGSTON, Jamaica – With Anthony Thomas down for the weekend, jockey Linton Steadman made use of his chance ride opportunity to carve out an easy victory aboard the Steven Todd trained Uncle Bally.
Uncle Bally and Portion (Omar Walker – chance ride) went after each other from they were let loose by the starter.
In the stretch drive Portion could not keep up with Uncle Bally who rushed to his first win from 13 starts by five lengths.
Top Gear ran on to grab second with Portion occupying the third slot.
