Champion trainer Anthony Nunes, jockey Dane Nelson start to roll in 2020 with Patriarch

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Champion trainer Anthony Nunes got his campaign to retain his title off and running as guided by his first choice jockey Dane Nelson, Patriarch at 1-9 odds on made a mockery of the second race on the Caymanas Park, Saturday programme.

Patriarch who was claimed from the race for $1,000,000 showed his class once again over the five straight course winning with consummate ease by nearly five lengths.

Campesino racing now at 10-years-old finished second at 2-1 with jockey Oneil Mullings in the saddle. Third went to Mr Ambassador – Dane Dawkins – at odds of 30-1.

The winning time was a fast 58.4.
