After six race days in the opening month of the 2026 season, champion jockey Raddesh Roman heads the colony with nine victories.
Roman’s standout performance came on January 24, when he produced a sparkling triple aboard The Hot Dancer, Money Box, and Fernando. He followed up a week later with a double, guiding Tiffany Blu and Senor Biscotti to success. From 37 rides, Roman has returned a 24 per cent strike rate, underlining his dominance at this early stage.
Sharing second place on the table with six wins apiece are Tevin Foster and Jaheim Anderson. Foster, who famously battled Roman for the 2024 championship, spent much of 2025 riding in Canada. His six winners this term have come from 26 mounts, giving him a 23 per cent win rate.
The revelation of the season so far, however, is Anderson. A recent graduate of the Jockeys’ Training School, he announced himself with a first career triple on January 10, scoring aboard Joyfull Surprise (trainer Tensang Chung), Gelroy (Cashbert Khwalsingh), and Skill At Arms (Marlon Brown). Anderson has kept the momentum rolling, most recently partnering Total Velocity to victory for trainer Neive Graham on January 31.
Dane Dawkins, another who campaigned in Canada last year, occupies fourth spot with four wins.
