KINGSTON, Jamaica – Several race days have gone by since champion jockey Christopher Mamdeen has found the winning post.
Mamdeen got an armchair ride aboard the Errol Waugh foreigner Alhamdulillah to relocate the winning post for only the fifth time this season.
Running in a Restricted Allowance V for local four-year-olds non-winners of two and for maiden foreigners going a mile, the fourth race on the Caymanas Park card, Alhamdulillah as the 2-5 favourite shot to the front as quickly as the gates opened and after that it was a procession.
Inspired Miracle (Javaniel Patterson) finished second with Bloodsweatandtears (Shane Ellis) third.
The winning time on a slow track was 1:39.2, while the margin of victory was 12 1/12 lengths.
