KINGSTON, Jamaica – Reigning champion of the pigskin in 2018, Anthony Thomas put his first winner of the new racing season into his winning account just minutes ago when he piloted Sharp Skirt to victory for his apprentice master trainer Welsh Soutar.
Sharp Skirt won in a $250,000 - $210,000 claiming race over five furlongs straight.
Second went to Dr Banner ridden by Tevin Foster and third to Bullet Raj with Robert Halledeen in the saddle.
