KINGSTON, Jamaica - At the 2024 Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) Mixed Sale, the yearlings took centre stage, but several three-year-olds and older horses also attracted attention.
The highlight of the sale was Bootylicious, trained by Peter-John Parsard, who was sold for $3 million. Bootylicious raced on Saturday, November 9, 2024, finishing third in the one-mile St. Elizabeth Distaff after setting a fast pace.
Another horse from Parsard's stable, Neo Star, sold for $2.5 million. Neo Star also raced yesterday but finished unplaced in the Jamaica Cup.
Additionally, Tigeramedat, a familiar name on the racetrack, was sold for $1 million.
